Transplanting herbs from your garden to indoors

Fall is my favorite season, but I don't want to waste my all my efforts in my garden, so it's time to harvest those herbs. The trick to moving them indoors is to do this slowly. First transplant the herbs to pots. Leave outside for the first few days, then bring indoors in the evening, take outside during the day. Leaving them outdoors for less and less hours. I generally do this over one week. Make sure that you put them in a sunny spot and that they they have humidty so that they don't dry out while indoors.

I generally have herbs that last me through the winter and sometimes they even make it throught spring so that I can transplant them back outside. Happy transplanting!
